The Landmine Rear Lunge is a strength exercise that targets the lower body while engaging core stability. It involves lunging backward while holding a barbell anchored in a landmine attachment, working on balance and coordination.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, facing a landmine setup, holding the barbell with one hand.
  2. Step back with one leg into a lunge position, keeping the front knee aligned over the ankle.
  3. Lower the back knee toward the floor while keeping the torso upright.
  4. Push through the front heel to return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps, then switch sides.
