The hip flexor stretch with rear foot elevated is designed to increase flexibility in the hip flexors while also stretching the quadriceps. It aids in improving posture and reducing tightness in the front of the hip, commonly developed from prolonged sitting.

How to do it

  1. Place one foot behind you on a bench while standing.
  2. Lower your hips into a lunge, keeping the front knee above the ankle.
  3. Push your hips forward gently and hold the stretch for desired time.
