Equipment
The Frog Crunch is a core exercise that targets the abdominal muscles with an emphasis on the Rectus Abdominis. It involves a crunch motion while the legs are bent and knees are apart, similar to a frog position, intensifying the contraction in the midsection.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet together, forming a frog shape with your legs.
- Place your hands behind your head with elbows pointing to the sides.
- Engage your core and lift your shoulders off the ground towards your knees.
- Squeeze your abs at the top of the movement, then slowly lower back down.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
