The Dumbbell Sumo Squat off Benches is a lower body exercise that targets the quadriceps, glutes, and adductors. By standing on benches, this variation increases the range of motion, leading to improved strength and flexibility in these muscle groups.

How to do it

  1. Stand on two parallel benches with a wide stance, holding a dumbbell with both hands.
  2. Lower your body by bending your knees and hips, keeping your back straight.
  3. Descend until your thighs are parallel to the floor or a bit lower.
  4. Press through your heels to return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
