Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The incline dumbbell biceps curl is a strength exercise that targets the biceps brachii. Performing the curl on an incline bench adds additional stretch to the biceps, maximizing muscle engagement. This variation helps improve arm strength and size.
How to do it
- Sit back on an incline bench set at about 45 degrees, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Allow your arms to hang straight down with palms facing forward.
- Curl the dumbbells up by bending at the elbows without moving the upper arms, keeping your wrists neutral.
- Lift until your biceps are fully contracted, then lower slowly to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
