The Dumbbell Incline Alternate Bicep Curl is an exercise that targets the biceps brachii while also engaging stabilizing muscles. It is performed on an incline bench, which helps isolate the biceps and minimizes the use of momentum.
How to do it
- Sit back on an incline bench holding a dumbbell in each hand with supinated grip.
- Keep elbows close to your sides and feet flat on the floor.
- Curl one dumbbell upwards by contracting your bicep, keeping the upper arm stationary.
- Lower it back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
- Repeat with the opposite arm, alternating curls.
