The dumbbell front raise is an isolation exercise that primarily targets the shoulders, specifically the front deltoids. It helps to build strength and definition in the shoulder area, improving functional strength and enhancing upper body aesthetics.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
  2. Keep your arms straight and lift the dumbbells to shoulder height in front of you.
  3. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
