The Dumbbell Bent-Over Face Pull is an exercise that targets the upper back and shoulder muscles, improving posture and shoulder stability. It involves pulling two dumbbells towards the face while bent over, engaging the shoulder girdle and upper back.

How to do it

  1. Begin by standing with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
  2. Bend forward at the hips, keeping your back straight and letting your arms hang naturally.
  3. Pull the dumbbells towards your face, keeping elbows higher than wrists, while squeezing the shoulder blades together.
  4. Pause briefly when the weights are level with your face.
  5. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
