The Double Lean Back Quadriceps Stretch is a static stretch designed to improve flexibility in the quadriceps and hip flexors. By leaning back from a kneeling position, it provides a deep stretch that helps in recovery and prevention of injury.
How to do it
- Start in a kneeling position with knees hip-width apart and feet flat on the ground.
- Lean back slowly, engaging your core to maintain balance.
- Support your body with your hands on the floor behind you.
- Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds, feeling the stretch in your quadriceps.
- Return to the starting position slowly to avoid strain.
