The dip leg raise on a padded stool is an exercise that targets the upper body and core. It combines elements of a dip and a leg raise, enhancing strength and endurance in the triceps and abdominals while engaging stabilizers throughout the upper and lower body.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the edge of a padded stool with hands beside hips, facing forward.
  2. Push off the stool, supporting body weight with arms, and extend legs out in front.
  3. Perform a dip by lowering hips towards the ground, while maintaining a straight torso.
  4. Raise legs up as you lower, keeping them extended.
  5. Return to starting position by pushing up and lowering legs simultaneously.
