The crouching heel back calf stretch is designed to enhance flexibility in the calf muscles by lengthening and loosening them. It is particularly beneficial for athletes or individuals who need increased ankle and lower leg mobility.

How to do it

  1. Start in a crouching position with one foot forward and the other foot back.
  2. Keep your back leg straight and heel planted on the ground.
  3. Lean forward slightly, placing your hands on the ground for support.
  4. Hold the stretch for several seconds before switching legs.
  5. Repeat on the other side to evenly stretch both calves.
