The Cow Stretch is a yoga pose that is part of the Cat-Cow sequence. It primarily helps improve spinal flexibility and posture, while also relieving tension in the back and torso.

How to do it

  1. Start on your hands and knees in a tabletop position.
  2. Align wrists under shoulders and knees under hips.
  3. Inhale as you arch your back, dropping the belly and lifting the chest toward the ceiling.
  4. Keep your head in a neutral position or gaze slightly upward.
  5. Hold for a few breaths before transitioning to the Cat pose.
