The Cow Stretch is a yoga pose that is part of the Cat-Cow sequence. It primarily helps improve spinal flexibility and posture, while also relieving tension in the back and torso.
How to do it
- Start on your hands and knees in a tabletop position.
- Align wrists under shoulders and knees under hips.
- Inhale as you arch your back, dropping the belly and lifting the chest toward the ceiling.
- Keep your head in a neutral position or gaze slightly upward.
- Hold for a few breaths before transitioning to the Cat pose.
