The Child's Pose is a gentle yoga position that promotes relaxation and flexibility in the back and hips. It helps to stretch the spine, hips, and thighs, while also calming the mind. This pose is beneficial for relieving tension and stress.

How to do it

  1. Begin on your hands and knees in a tabletop position.
  2. Exhale as you lower your hips back towards your heels.
  3. Extend your arms forward, resting your forehead on the ground.
  4. Relax your shoulders, and breathe deeply, holding the pose.
  5. Slowly return to tabletop position when ready.
