The cable triceps pushdown on the floor is a variation of the triceps pushdown exercise performed while lying flat. It targets the triceps muscles by extending the arms against resistance from a cable machine, providing isolation and muscle engagement without standing.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on your back with feet flat and knees bent.
  2. Grip the cable attachment with both hands, palms facing down.
  3. Extend your arms fully by pushing the cable downward, keeping elbows close to your body.
  4. Hold briefly at the bottom, then return to the starting position with control.
