The Cable Standing Hip Extension targets the gluteal muscles and helps in enhancing hip strength and mobility. It is effective for building lower body strength, particularly focusing on the gluteus maximus. This exercise is ideal for improving posture and hip extension capabilities.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing a cable machine, attach the ankle strap to one leg, and set the weight.
  2. Hold onto the machine for balance and keep your core engaged.
  3. Extend the strapped leg backward, keeping it straight.
  4. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
