The cable lying triceps extension with rope targets the triceps by extending the arms while lying flat on a bench. This exercise helps in building arm strength and muscle definition, focusing on the triceps brachii muscles effectively.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on a bench, positioning a rope attachment on a low pulley cable system above your head.
  2. Grab the rope with both hands, palms facing, and extend your arms straight above you.
  3. Slowly bend your elbows, lowering the rope towards your forehead.
  4. Extend your arms back to the starting position, keeping elbows stationary.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
