The Bottle Weighted Overhead Crunch is an abdominal exercise where you perform a crunch while holding a weighted bottle overhead. This increases core engagement and the challenge to the rectus abdominis by adding resistance and requiring stabilization.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the ground.
- Hold a bottle with both hands, extending your arms above your shoulders.
- Engage your core and lift your shoulders off the ground, keeping the bottle overhead.
- Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then lower back down with control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
