The Bottle Weighted Overhead Crunch is an abdominal exercise where you perform a crunch while holding a weighted bottle overhead. This increases core engagement and the challenge to the rectus abdominis by adding resistance and requiring stabilization.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the ground.
  2. Hold a bottle with both hands, extending your arms above your shoulders.
  3. Engage your core and lift your shoulders off the ground, keeping the bottle overhead.
  4. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then lower back down with control.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
