The Barbell Walking Lunge is a lower body exercise that targets the quadriceps, hips, and glutes. It enhances balance and strength in the legs, helping improve functional movement and athletic performance.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with a barbell resting on your upper back.
  2. Step forward with one leg, bending both knees to lower your hips.
  3. Lower your back knee towards the ground without touching it.
  4. Push through the front heel to return to standing and step forward with the other leg.
  5. Continue alternating legs while maintaining an upright torso.
