The Barbell Standing Wide-Grip Curl is a bicep-strengthening exercise emphasizing the outer part of the biceps. It involves holding a barbell with a wider grip than shoulder-width and curling it upwards. This variation targets the Brachialis muscle, adding variety to upper arm workouts.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, grasp the barbell with a wide grip.
  2. Keep elbows close to your body and back straight.
  3. Curl the barbell upwards towards your chest, keeping your wrists straight.
  4. Pause at the top, then slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
