How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wide apart, holding a barbell across your shoulders.
  2. Shift your weight to one side, bending the knee and lowering into a squat.
  3. Keep the other leg straight and core engaged.
  4. Push through the bent leg to return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat on the other side.
