How to do it
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, barbell across the upper back.
- Engage core, maintain a neutral spine, and begin to squat by bending knees and hips.
- Pause at the bottom of the squat for a few seconds, keeping muscles engaged.
- Push through heels to return to standing, exhaling as you ascend.
- Repeat for desired repetitions, ensuring form and control.
