The Barbell Behind the Back Push Press is a dynamic exercise combining a lower body dip with an upper body pressing movement. It primarily targets the shoulders and enhances power and coordination.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the barbell behind your neck on your upper back.
  2. Slightly bend your knees and dip down to load your legs.
  3. Explosively push upwards, pressing the barbell overhead.
  4. Lock out your arms at the top before controlling the barbell back to the starting position.
