The alternating step out is a dynamic exercise that targets the lower body and core. It involves stepping laterally to engage the leg muscles and improve balance and agility, making it a valuable addition to cardiovascular workouts.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet together and hands clasped.
  2. Step out to the right, bending your right knee while keeping the left leg straight.
  3. Push off the right foot to return to the starting position.
  4. Repeat the movement on the left side.
  5. Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.
