The 3/4 Sit-Up is an abdominal exercise focusing on strengthening the core muscles, specifically targeting the Rectus Abdominis. By only partially raising the torso, it reduces strain on the neck and lower back while effectively engaging the core.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
- Place your hands behind your head with elbows flared out.
- Engage your core and lift your torso until your elbows reach over your knees.
- Pause briefly at the top, maintaining tension in the abs.
- Slowly lower your torso back to the starting position.
