This exercise involves standing shoulder flexion movements to enhance flexibility and strength in the shoulder region. It emphasizes the health and mobility of the shoulder girdle and upper back muscles.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Raise one arm above the head and bend the elbow to touch the opposite shoulder, keeping the upper arm close to the ear.
  3. Use the opposite hand to gently pull the elbow for a deeper stretch.
  4. Maintain a straight posture and engage the core muscles.
  5. Hold for a few seconds, switch sides, and repeat.
