The lateral step-up with knee drive combines a step-up with a powerful knee drive to target the lower body and core. It enhances balance, coordination, and unilateral leg strength, offering an effective way to engage the legs and core together.

How to do it

  1. Stand beside a step with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Place one foot on the step, keeping the opposite leg straight.
  3. Drive through the heel on the step, lifting the other knee up.
  4. Lower the lower leg back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat on the opposite side.
