The Dumbbell Standing French Press is an isolation exercise targeting the triceps. It helps build arm strength and improve the stability of the shoulder joint. By performing this exercise in a standing position, it also engages the core for balance.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell with both hands overhead.
  2. Keep elbows pointed forward and close to your head.
  3. Lower the dumbbell behind your head by bending your elbows.
  4. Extend your arms back to the starting position, squeezing your triceps.
  5. Keep your core engaged throughout the movement.
