The Dumbbell Standing French Press is an isolation exercise targeting the triceps. It helps build arm strength and improve the stability of the shoulder joint. By performing this exercise in a standing position, it also engages the core for balance.
How to do it
- Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell with both hands overhead.
- Keep elbows pointed forward and close to your head.
- Lower the dumbbell behind your head by bending your elbows.
- Extend your arms back to the starting position, squeezing your triceps.
- Keep your core engaged throughout the movement.
