Donkey kicks are a bodyweight exercise targeting the glutes that helps strengthen and tone the buttocks while improving core stability. This move is beneficial for building lower body strength and can be done without any equipment.

How to do it

  1. Start on all fours with knees under hips and hands under shoulders.
  2. Engage the core and keep the spine neutral.
  3. Lift one leg, keeping the knee bent, until the thigh is parallel to the floor.
  4. Lower the leg back to the starting position without touching the ground.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps before switching legs.
