The Cossack Squat is a dynamic lower body exercise emphasizing lateral movement. It enhances hip and ankle mobility while strengthening the legs. This exercise targets flexibility and strength in the inner thighs and outer hips, offering a functional training element.

How to do it

  1. Begin in a wide stance with feet pointed slightly outwards.
  2. Shift your weight to one foot, bending the knee while keeping the other leg straight.
  3. Lower into a squat on one side, keeping your chest upright.
  4. Hold briefly, then return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat on the opposite side.
