The cable standing row is an exercise designed to develop upper body strength, focusing on the back muscles. It involves pulling a cable attachment towards the torso and is effective for improving posture and engaging the core.
How to do it
- Stand facing a cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grasp the cable handle with both hands, arms extended.
- Pull the handle towards your torso, keeping elbows close to your body.
- Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the end of the movement.
- Slowly return to the starting position and repeat.
