How to do it

  1. Stand facing the cable machine, feet shoulder-width apart, and grasp the rope attachment with both hands.
  2. Bend your knees and lower into a squat while maintaining a neutral spine.
  3. Pull the rope towards your torso, engaging your back muscles, while keeping your elbows close to your body.
  4. Return to the starting position by extending your arms and standing back up.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining control throughout the movement.
