The Burpee Shuffle is an invigorating full-body exercise that combines the explosive movement of a burpee with lateral shuffling to enhance agility and cardiovascular endurance. This dynamic drill challenges coordination and bursts calorie burn, making it an excellent addition to high-intensity interval training.

How to do it

  1. Begin standing with feet shoulder-width apart. Drop into a squat, placing your hands on the ground directly in front of you.
  2. Kick your feet back into a plank position, keeping your core engaged and body in a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Perform a push-up, then quickly jump your feet back towards your hands, returning to a squat position.
  4. Explode upwards into a jump with arms reaching overhead, then land softly and immediately shuffle sideways to the right.
  5. After shuffling a few paces, repeat the burpee, and then shuffle back to the left to return to your starting position.
