The Barbell Romanian Deadlift is a strength exercise targeting the posterior chain, particularly focusing on the glutes and hamstrings. How to do it

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a barbell with an overhand grip at thigh level.
  2. Keep your chest up and core engaged, then hinge at the hips, lowering the barbell along the legs.
  3. Lower until feeling a stretch in the hamstrings, then drive through the heels to return to the starting position.
